'The Last Wolf' bone china plate is the first of a Volpe and Volpe series commemorating the extinct and endangered animals of the British Isles. Aloof and unaware, The Last Wolf would have been the only remaining individual of his kind roaming the English and Scottish countryside before the wolf population died out in the 15th century.
