Upcycled, Regency style side table with single drawer, a quirky little piece distressed in Indian yellow. The Painted Interiors ‘Marie Antoinette Side Table’ is an example of their unique ‘bricolage’ technique breaking up painted surfaces using decorative objects and paper. In this example shells and decoupage are used to give a quirky yet stylish twist to the shabby chic look. The drawer front is decorated with pearl and grey button shells and clams centred on a pretty floral ring pull handle original to this piece of furniture. On the top of the furniture is a collage of a portrait of Marie Antoinette surrounded by a frame of pearl button and clam shells. All colours and glazes are hand mixed and unique to Painted Interiors.
