Poetry Plates

Fine bone china plates with gold lustre edging and blue text.

The large 10 inch plate features a love poem written from the plate to you. It reads "I love the way you look at me, and the way you use your knife. I love the way you eat your food, you give meaning to my life."

The medium 8 inch plate reads "I am nothing but a simple plate, porcelain skin painted gold and blue. I am not a poet, just a dish, but I'll leave that judgement up to you."

The small 6 inch side plate reads "A little bit on the side." The texts are written in a romantic handwritten style of a old love letter complete with dips of ink and imperfections. Available in in the following sizes:

Small 6" (gold band with blue poetry)
Medium 8" (gold band with blue poetry)
Large 10" (gold band with blue poetry)

Due to the gold lustre edging, repeated dishwasher use is not recommended.

These plates are designed by Mineheart, launched in 2010 by designers Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia of Studiomold and Young & Battaglia. The duo are known for their playful approach to design, and innovative re-appropriation of materials and imagery. All Mineheart products are produced in the UK.
